These log files contain information regarding contact and calendar synchronizations.
Make sure you check the log file for both the process and the Process Manager application. By default, the log files for the Microsoft Outlook to InterAction Sync process reside in the InterAction Data directory, which is determined by the following entry in the IAAdmin.ini file.
For Windows machines:
[Data]
Directory=C:\Program Data\LexisNexis\InterActionThese are rolling log files that are named OLC2IACSyncProcess.log for the current day’s log file and
OLC2IACSyncProcess<yyyymmdd>.log for log files from previous days.
On the Microsoft Outlook to InterAction Sync Configuration dialog box accessed by choosing the Settings button in the Manage Process Schedule dialog box, you can determine the amount of detail in the log file by setting the log level.
From least to greatest detail, the options are:
- Low
- Standard
- High
- Troubleshoot
You should only set your log file to High or Troubleshoot if you are investigating a problem or if you are instructed to do so by InterAction Technical Support. These settings can make your log files grow large very quickly.
We recommend you keep log files for at least fourteen days. They can be very useful to LexisNexis InterAction Technical Support if you have a support issue.
To easily find warnings or errors, you can perform a search for “warning” or “error” in the log file.
