Depending on your version of Outlook, InterAction for Microsoft Outlook provides either an InterAction Ribbon or menu. An InterAction Pane is provided for all versions of Outlook. These provide access to InterAction information within Outlook.
The following sections provide an overview of the InterAction Ribbon, Menu, and Pane. For detailed information about using these, see the InterAction for Microsoft Outlook guide.
InterAction Ribbon (Outlook)
You can access the InterAction Ribbon wherever you are performing Outlook tasks. The buttons that appear on the Ribbon vary depending on where in Outlook you access it. For example, if you are viewing an email message, the Log this Email button displays.
InterAction Pane (All Versions of Microsoft Office)
The InterAction Pane appears inside a panel within Outlook that gives you easy access to InterAction data within the context of your Outlook Inbox, calendar, or contact list. Because InterAction data displays within Outlook, you avoid the time-consuming task of going back and forth between Outlook and InterAction.
By default, the InterAction Pane is minimized. To view information within the pane, click or hover over an icon.
The normal view of the InterAction pane takes up more space in the Outlook window, but it shows more information while you are working and gives you access to search features.
Switch the View of the InterAction Pane (Normal, Minimized, or Off)
To switch the view of the InterAction Pane, do one of the following:
- Choose the InterAction logo at the top of the InterAction Pane to toggle between minimized and normal view
- (Outlook) In the InterAction Ribbon, choose Pane, then choose Normal, Minimized or Off.
